Terms of Service

Ask Saffi ("Saffi," "we," "us") is an educational AI tool that helps nursing students draft nursing care plan assignments. Saffi is not a medical device, not a clinical decision-support system, and not a substitute for professional judgment. Output is a draft to be edited, validated, and finished in the student's own voice before any academic submission.

Not clinical advice. Saffi is intended for fictional school scenarios only. It must never be used with real patient data, real medication decisions, or actual clinical care.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Saffi. By creating an account or paying for a tier you confirm you meet that requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at rnsaffi@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• Enter real patient identifiers (names, MRNs, room numbers, dates of birth, phone, SSN) or any other protected health information (PHI) into Saffi.
• Use Saffi's output to make real clinical decisions, substitute for a licensed clinician's judgment, or administer real medications.
• Resell, repackage, or relicense Saffi's output.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying system prompts or model behavior.
• Use the service to harass anyone, generate harmful content, or violate any law.

We offer (or will offer) the following paid tiers: Semester ($39 per 4-month term), Pro Monthly ($9.99/month), and Lifetime ($99 one-time). Pricing and availability may change; the price shown at the time you purchase is the price you pay.

Subscriptions (Semester, Pro Monthly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access through that period.

The Lifetime tier grants permanent access to the features described on the pricing page for the lifetime of the Ask Saffi service. If we discontinue the service, the Lifetime entitlement ends with it; see Section 9.

14-day refund: Semester and Lifetime tiers carry a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email rnsaffi@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase with your receipt and we will refund the full amount. Pro Monthly is not refunded after the current billing period begins; cancel to avoid the next charge.

You retain ownership of the scenario data you enter and of the edited care plans you produce. You grant Saffi a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service (generate output, save your drafts, and provide support). We do not sell your data or use it to train third-party models.

The Saffi service, including the system prompts, persona, code, UI, and brand, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. The output Saffi generates from your inputs is licensed to you for your educational use.

We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue a paid tier you currently hold, we will refund a pro-rata portion of any unused prepaid term. If we discontinue the entire service, Lifetime entitlements end with it and we will issue a pro-rata refund based on time elapsed since purchase.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, fraud, chargebacks, or activity that risks the safety of other users or the integrity of the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Saffi's output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong and must be verified and edited by the student before submission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Saffi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $99.

You agree to defend and indemnify Ask Saffi against claims arising from your misuse of the service, including submitting real patient data, using output for real clinical decisions, or violating these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
